It sounds like a good idea to have some time to get work done, like a study day or week and just shut off distractions. Doing it on a regular basis, doesn’t have to be whole weeks maybe, will probably increase your output – depending on your tasks.

Would it work on the first tryout? Probably not, one needs to learn how to setup these days. Probably, if one is stressed out, at the first try it‘ll be recharging. Maybe the result could be measure on a period of half a year, doing regular study days/ weeks.

The approach to free some days after Christmas holidays is a bit double faced. Should this be a time to recharge anyway?
